  Art online  Art Online is a database of Tyne and Wear Museums' fine and decorative art collections that are housed at the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle and the Shipley Art Gallery in Gateshead. The purpose of this online database is to make the collections more accessible. 
  Artworld  ArtWorld is a new resource for teaching and learning in world art from the University of East Anglia and Durham University. A large and varied body of objects from the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts and Oriental Museum collections has been digitized and is online now.
