  Northumberland Communities  The Northumberland Communities website contains a range of learning resource material that reflects Northumberland’s heritage, providing a base for studying the County’s history. The website provides a starting point for understanding the development of communities in Northumberland. It also seeks to illustrate the range of sources for family and local history research that are available via Northumberland Archives Service.
 
  Oral History North East  The North East Oral History Network was set up in 2003 to provide support for individuals and organisations undertaking oral history projects.  
  Past Perfect  Past Perfect is a New Opportunities Fund grant-aided project run jointly by Durham and Northumberland County Councils. It uses the latest in virtual reality interactive technology to bring the archaeology and history of the two counties alive.  
  Picture Stockton  Picture Stockton is a fascinating gallery of photographs from Stockton-on-Tees. The resource is being developed in close collaboration with Education ICT Services and Stockton Libraries. 
  Pictures in Print  A collaborative project sponsored by the British Library Co-operation and Partnership Programme and NEMLAC to create a union catalogue, with viewable images, of printed maps and topographical prints of County Durham created before 1860 held by Durham University Library, Durham County Library, Durham Cathedral Library, Sunderland Museum, Sunderland City Library and the British Library.
